Codenames: Duet - two player word deduction game by CGE Czech Games Edition

Codenames Duet retains the core concept of giving one-word clues to identify your agents among a grid of word cards, but now you are working as a team to find all of the agents. The game setup involves laying out 25 word cards in a 5x5 grid and placing a key card in the holder so that each player can see one side of the card. Each player sees a 5x5 grid on the card, with nine green squares representing your agents and one black square representing an assassin. The assassin is in different places on each side of the card, and three of the nine squares on each side are also green on the other side.

The goal of the game is to reveal all fifteen agents without revealing either assassin or too many innocent bystanders before time runs out in order to win the game. Players can give a one-word clue to the other player, along with a number. If the receiving player correctly identifies an agent, they can attempt to identify another one. If they reveal as many as the number stated by the clue giver, then they can take one final guess, if desired. However, if they identify a bystander, their guessing time ends. If they identify an assassin, both players lose.

The game introduces 400 all-new words that are compatible with the original Codenames. It also features cooperative gameplay, a campaign mode to record progress, variable difficulty to challenge even experienced players, and is great for playing with two players or more.
